So recently a local pharmacy had a huge 40% off sale on make up and nail products! I couldn't help myself so I popped in and picked up a few things. I tried to mainly stick to essentials as i'm not in a situation to splurge right now. I ended up picking up around $50 worth of stuff altogether, give or take a few dollar, because a situation like this is just too good to pass up!
I though i'd do a quick first impressions and review of the products I've repurchased and the products i'm purchasing for the first time!
1. Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation
Now this was really just me stocking up on foundation as I have tried this before. I have a love-hate relationship with this foundation as some days I find it goes on really well and other I can never seem to get right. Maybe i'm too critical but lately i've been really liking this foundation again so I decided to repurchase!
2. Essie Nail Lacquer in Mint Candy Apple
I went through a stage where I really adored pastel blue nails and so I decided to pick up this colour whist they were cheap! I literally had to stop myself from buying $50 worth of just nail polish. It's totally worth it too, Essie do such a high quality polish it glides on so easily and the colour is vibrant instantly, you really don't need that many coats at all!
3. Revlon ColourStay BrowMaker
I've always wanted to try a brow powder, I currently (and have always) used a pencil, so I was really excited to pick this up at such a cheap price! I have to draw my eyebrows on constantly, don't ask me why it's not something I enjoy talking about, so i'm really pumped to give this product a try. It comes with it's own two ended angled and highlighting brush so it's definitely so far been worth the money!
4. L'oreal Miss Manga Mascara
I have wanted to try this mascara out since I heard about it maybe a year and half ago since i'm an avid anime and manga fan. I was starting to think that it would never be released in Australia and that I would be doomed to just hear about it from everyone else. After waiting so long for a product i'm not gonna and say i'm more than a little disappointed. The packaging is less that exciting and when I opened the product to have a look there was mascara covering and clumping over the bristles already and almost drooping back into the bottom container. I'm yet to actually try the product but so far first impressions have not been good. Hopefully the product can save itself.
